Firsts

There are a lot of firsts in childrens lives. Yesterday Kambree smiled for the first time, I can mostly get her to smile when I laugh funny. It's so cute, so hopefully we can catch a pic soon of it. Wesley went to nursery at church for the first time yesterday. I was really nervous because of what a stinker he is. But to my surprise he was so good, I was so happy. I kept peekin in on him and he was just playin, havin fun, until the last 10 minutes, when my sister went in to do singing with them and I guess she reminded him of me and he just wanted out. So overall I was proud of him, I am so grateful there's nursery because trying to play the piano in primary with him running around was hard!

The Babies!

This is Kambree at 4 weeks, she is getting so chubby! I love chubby babies! She is awake more everyday and she's so interested in what's around her. It's amazing how fast they grow.

Wesley is my little character, he loves, loves being outside! He grabs his shoes and walks to the door and says go, go all day long. He's so funny!

Mission Call!

My brother Kyler, a goofball (wouldn't take a normal pic), got his mission call this Friday. He's going to Billings, Montana. We were all guessing out of country, but I guess those small towns need someone like my brother to liven the place up! (he will for sure!) I know he's going to make an awesome missionary and will do a lot of great work.

Got Insurance?

So, not having insurance through this whole pregnancy has been an experience for sure. But, I got this phone call today on how much my hospital bill was and I think it is insane. So, I was at the hospital a total of 32 hours with my c-section (usually you have to stay 72), no complications, didn't eat the hospital's food (people brought me food), and my bill was just over $11,000. Insane right? That doesn't even include what I've paid my doc, the pediatrician, and the anastesiologist. I can't wait to see the itemized report saying how much they charged me per toilet paper sheet I used, haha. I think it is ridiculous that it is that much for how little time I actually spent at the hospital. Should've become a doctor haha.

Wes and Kambree

Wesley loves to help me when I do things, more of a mess maker than help haha. He pulls up a chair whenever I'm doing something in the kitchen. This is a pic of him after helping me with the dishes, playing with the bubbles, he had them everywhere.

This is Kambree, 2 weeks old in a cute dress. She's getting more alert now which is fun. It's definitely fun dressing a little girl than a boy. Wes has cute clothes, but girls clothes are fun, I'm so glad I have her.

My Fam

Kambree is such a sleeper, which is a complete opposite of how Wesley was - wide eye from birth, so it's been hard to get pics with her eyes open. But when she's awake she's so sweet, loves to look around and cuddle. It's crazy having a baby that seems so small, Wes was 9 lbs. Her tiny, even though 7 1/2 lbs isn't tiny, little body is just so cute. I'm so grateful to have her come into my home!

Wesley has had a very hard time sharing his mommy with Kambree, which makes it very hard for me. He gets really upset when I pick up the baby or change her diaper. I try to give him his own special attention, I guess it will just take time for him to get over it and love his sissy. This pic is of him playing with my checkbook, minus the important things. He loves to play with the cards, sticking them in and out of the slots. I love my goofy little boy!
