A Tribute To My Brother!

My brother Korey just got home from his mission Monday night the 12th. We were all so excited, but his flight came in at 10 at night, so we couldn’t spend much time with him, just at the airport. We all went over to my Mom’s house tonight and had a belated birthday party for him. It’s so great to have him home again. Korey was such an awesome missionary in Mexico and I am so proud that he was so dedicated to the work. It is weird seeing my little brother grow up, but he is a great example to my other 3 brothers!

Do Not Use The Bumbo Chair!

This is the bumbo seat that I used to love. Wesley has sat in it since he was 2 1/2 months until now. Apparently this chair has been recalled, which I found out after Wesley has had an injury. A couple days ago he was sitting on the counter right next to me helping me do dishes, and within a split second he arched his back and the chair flipped over and he landed on his head on the floor. It was the most awful experience ever. Wesley has had a few other minor bruises, but never like this one. I guess a lot of other babies have had head injuries while using this chair even being on the floor. I am just grateful that it was not a fracture, just a big bruise. So I am letting everyone know, if they know someone who has this chair please tell them what could happen, I would not want another baby to get a knot on his head like Wes did.

This is 2 days after. He landed on the left side of his head, and eye. Poor guy. I am not good with injuries, so hopefully there will not be many more. Haha, with boys, I don't know.

First Halloween!

This is our monkey! He looked so cute in his costume. We went over to my mom's house along with my sister and her 3 kids. We ate dinner and than went trick or treating as a group. My mom's neighborhood goes all out for halloween, haunted houses and kind of a big street party. Wesley loves to be outside so it was fun for him. He's such a momma's boy though, he'd be smiling and than as soon as someone said something to him, he'd hide his face in my shoulder. He's such a character! And he loved the candy!

This is my sister's youngest son, Ryland, he's 2 1/2. He was just so dang funny. He was Harry Potter and had the wand and everything and would wave it at the people that gave him candy, like casting a spell. He'd run up say trick or treat and then run back saying I did it Mom, I did it! So excited. Everyone thought he was a hoot!
