Our Christmas

So, Christmas was fun but busy and wore us all out. We woke up early and had Wesley open the presents we had got him, mostly cars, he's obsessed. It was cute, he actually tore off the paper, but wanted to play with the toy after opening it and didn't understand why we were setting them aside. He would've been happy with just one present, but it was cute. We then went over to my mom's and had breakfast there and we all opened more presents and played with the kids. Robbie's sister had Christmas over at her house this year, way out by the estrella mountains, far. We had lunch there and opened more presents. We don't get to see some of Robbie's fam as often as mine, so it was fun to visit with them. Wesley is the only grandchild here in town, so he was loaded up with gifts. I was sick the whole week of Christmas and it was hard to put on a smiling face for the whole day, but it was a good day and we did have lots of fun. Wesley got so many toys he doesn't know what to do with. And his birthday is in 3 weeks, he'll be a spoiled little boy.

Growin Up!

I really can't believe how fast time flies! Just one day about a week ago Wesley started walkin on his own, just a little ways at a time, but he loves to do it. He is so independent and wants to do everything himself and his way. I can't believe he's 10 1/2 months already. It's just like when he was 4 months he got 2 teeth and didn't get any more until the last month 4 more popped through and 2 more are coming in. It's like they go from baby to boy so quick! It's so fun to watch him learn new things!

Thanksgiving

So, it's been a little while, but for our Thanksgiving this year we got to go to Sea World. My mom wanted one last trip with our whole family before my brother goes off to college. So, we ate a big lunch on Thanksgiving, that was awesome, and drove to California. I was really worried that it would be a hard trip with Wesley because he hates being in the car, and for 6 hours I just didn't know. But he did so good and Sea World was so much fun! I hadn't been since I was like 7 or 8 years old and it was so cute to see Wesley's face with the animals. He loves animals, especially puppies, which they had a dog show and he loved it! His other favs were the penguins and the seals that you could feed fish and just barked at you, he just laughed at them. The picture is after the long day and we were both very worn out!
